REALTOR® of the Year for PAUL BUNYAN BOARD OF REALTORS®

6/7/2010 It's that time of year again!  Time for us to nominate and name our 2010 REALTOR® of the Year for Paul Bunyan Board of REALTORS®.  If you know of someone who would qualify for this recognition, here is a nomination form for you to get started.  We will help you with expanding and detailing the information that include the reasons for why you have nominated this person.  The nominations must be received at the board office of Paul Bunyan Board of REALTORS®  no later than Friday, July 30th.

MLS SERVICE UPDATES (6/7/2010)

Custom RETS profiles data service

Give Sally (our Association Executive) a call if your office is interested in finding out more about the Custom RETS profile data service for your office.  Several of our offices have found this to be a great time savings and also a convenience for sending data along without having to re-enter it to some of your data advertising partners that are not featured in the listing syndication services.  Each DR will be receiving  memo about the service and what the Custom RETS profiles will include sometime after the board of directors meeting on June 10th, 2010.

Street Abbreviation additions:

We've added a new field to assist with our goal of eventually making our address/street searches more functional.  Try to get into the habit of using the Street Abbreviations instead of entering it free form along with the street name.  Thanks!

Phasing in of Paragon 5 progress

We are still looking at an early fall roll out of Paragon 5 for our membership.

LOCKBOX SERVICE UPDATES (6/7/2010)

We are in the process of doing lockbox audits and matching the audit numbers with August of 2009 and June of 2010 with projections.  Each DR will be receiving  memo about the audit and how we will be handling the inventories sometime after the board of directors meeting on June 10th, 2010.

UPDATES FOR THE BOARD'S WEBSITE (6/7/2010)

We've been working to change the public listing display to give it a more polished, professional look and to enhance its visibility factor in Internet searches by the public.  Have you visited lately to take a look?   We are in the final phases of the project, with only the "face lifts" left for adding the sold information statistical link, the View Listing Details views and the area rentals links project to be completed.   Among other features for both members and the public for the Rental Directory service, you will be able to have rental properties posted here for monthly rentals and leases, and also for vacation rentals. 

And did you know that the Cadillac News listing search is a direct frame of our website, and the changes for that will also be completed at the same time at the view from the board's website is complete?  All leads from the public listing display go directly to the listing agent.  The Cadillac News view currently gives exposures for your Public Open Houses through this link as well.  We have spoken in the past about the same type of partnership with the Houghton Lake Resorter.  Perhaps a little "friendly" nudge by our Roscommon County members would assist in being able to offer the same type of exposure for your listings in the Roscommon County area.
